Set the work cycle
The direct voltage delivery modes with which a work cycle can be composed are the following:
Rise ramp
It is possible to set a rise time for the direct voltage to achieve a controlled increase of the working current at the start of the process. Adjustable.
Pulsed operation
For all or only a certain phase of the work cycle, it is possible to provide pulsed current delivery. The adjustable parameters are the pulse amplitude (limited by the rectifier’s rated value) and the pulse duration time. The pulse time is typically set between 200–800 ms. Faster pulses are affected by the inductance of the connection to the tank and are increasingly attenuated as the pulse speed increases.
Constant current operation
In constant voltage/current operation, the rectifier stabilizes the set voltage or current against variations in mains voltage and load. Constant voltage/current operation can be applied for the entire work cycle or for part of it.
