Rectifiers For Special Applications
CAEV designs and manufactures power supplies for special applications.Hardware and software devices developed to customer specifications.
Power supplies for special applications
High power control systems through complexes of interconnected converters and load insertion/removal panels using static switches. Single-phase and three-phase alternating current regulators for supplying transformers or resistive loads.
Rectifiers with medium voltage supply
Transformer-rectifier complexes with dedicated transformers (including on-board machines) powered by medium voltage.
Rectifiers in pressurized cabinets (ATEX)
Rectifiers installed in safety-rated cabinets with Ex protection mode, suitable for installation in explosive atmospheres according to European Standard EN60079-10, due to the presence of gases. The panel consists of a pressurized section (IP65) and an explosion-proof enclosure for power and control signal isolation. Cooling is provided by air or water conditioning.
Seawater cooling
Rectifiers cooled by closed-loop water with internal circuit water cooled by seawater. The seawater is isolated in components designed to withstand its corrosive action. The closed-loop fresh water circuit is isolated by a water-to-water heat exchanger.
Ramp programmer
The Ramp Programmer manages and supervises the rectifier work cycle. Work cycles can be easily programmed and stored. Cycles composed of a sequence of voltage/current ramps and working levels can be saved. Execution is extremely precise and accurate.
Pulsed current programmer
The Programmer controls the rectifier in delivering a pulsed current waveform with programmable amplitude and duty cycle.
